Obama Single Mom Grants
Are you a single mom who has dreamed of going back to school but don’t know how you could pay for it? Well you are certainly not alone.
The newly revamped and increased Obama Single Mom Grants (officially known as the Pell Grant) could be the key to your money problems.
But I have to say, this grant isn’t for everyone and unfortunately not all moms are going to be able to receive it.
you see, it’s a needs-based grant that is for low income people so unless you are within their criteria, you will miss out.
Luckily there are other scholarship options that are not so restrictive and provide more of a chance for single moms to get some cash for school.
The government Pell Grant has been increased to over $5,000 which provides plenty of cash for your education.
Whilst $5000 is a good amount of money, it is not enough to cover ALL of your college expenses.
You should aim to get at least $10,000 in free college money. this $10,000 scholarship would cover it.
You can of course apply for as many scholarships as you want and if you luck out then you’ll get more than one: that can essentially DOUBLE the free money that you can use for your education as a single mom
