Hello
My name is Josette F Wauddy. I would love to return to school. I’m a single mother who has work very hard to take care of my Daughter and to stay off welfare. I completed my AS degree in 2004. It was very hard to complete. I’ve worked very hard to live a very clean and honest life. Please help me finish my degree.

This sounds too good to be true!! I love that our president has created a scholarship program for single mothers! As for the individuals needing this money for graduate school, -stop- this is for people like me who have nothing, since you already have yours, help those who dont.

Again, Mr President thank you for sharing a program that has been around since 1965, I just didnt know a single mom could get it.

You sir get all the credit

I have recently found out I exahusted my pell grants and I need to finish my CIS BS program at Bellevur U, but can not afford it. I do know I will be employable if I am able to finish my degree. If there is any way I could get assistance with this, I have no problem paying it forard so I could assist others who despetly wouls also love to be able to support themselves, thier family and become self sufficient.

I am a mom of two. I found a schooling program I would love to go to school for but right now we are living on unemployment and I want to go back to school to finally get a career that I will enjoy. The school does not have finacial aid. Just a payment program which I still cant afford at this time. I would like to find out if obama's moms back to school can help me with this.

I work two jobs right now and that isn't going to cut it. I recieve no help from the government.
Hi, My name is Marcella; I would like to learn more about the single mothers’ scholarship. I am a single mother of four children; in addition, I care for my 75 year old disabled grandmother. I dropped out of school when I was in the 8th grade in 1992 to be a mother. I returned to school a little over a year ago. I am pursuing my dream of becoming a licensed nurse Practitioner. I currently attend Columbus State Community College. I have been full time (between12-15 credit hrs per quarter) My GPA is currently at 3.6 and I have earned 50 credits. I am planning to transfer to Ohio State University, though the cost is unreasonable for the student loans that I get. I have tried to squeeze a part time job in my schedule; but, wasn’t able to keep up. This scholarship would help me tremendously. Please send me the details about the application process. Sincerely, Marcella,

I am currently attending Grand Canyon University. It is my dream to give back to the system that once helped me. I am currently struggling with my finances due a lost of job. I will start student teaching in January 2012. This further complicates matters because the hour that I could work do not consign with the fact I have no one to help get my daughter to school on time. If I accept a job, I must make sure I have the ability to get her to school on time and I must be able to pick her up on time. When I finish school in May of 2012 I am going to be a mastered prepared Certified Special Education teacher. It is my goal to be employed in a title one school. I want to make an impact on my student by investing my time to become a professional special education teacher. I need funds to help me and my daugher who is currently in special education. When I was a special ed student, I longed to be normal. I never knew she would have the same label. Nonetheless, I want to be an example for my daughter and other people who struggle to provide a future for their families. I live in a constant learning mode. Because, never do I want to be without of a job and depended on the walfare system to survive.
It is in my heart to become a special education teacher because I know that not only my students would benefit, but this journey will provide me with professional growth and positive change in my future as well as my daughter's future. I don't want to live off the system, I want to earn my degree and give back to the system one day! Thanks in advance for all your support.
